1000049 orquestra was founded to recapture the beauty of the art pieces from composers like Gabjauja Barastir,Baba Aitvaras, Bagisht Biegg-Olmai, and other significant names of  the post-meta-classic musical forms. Most of played compositions were first played 49 years ago, when art celebrated its 1000000 birthday.  Important names of Brno experimental scene will now  reinterpret their transcriptions for our new times, new medias and new generation.

The concert in Brno will feature samples of metal towers, bridges, sculptures and objects the author has encountered on his trips around the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Ukraine. All these sounds come from the environment of deserted industrial estates. Another musical instrument will be the glass pipes from the former Vsacan Brewery in Vsetín. The author has extracted those parts that are in tune with each other. These acoustic sounds will also be combined with purely electronic samples. In this musical and sound performance the author will attempt to develop almost a stage adaptation of his sound composition, heading towards ambient and electronic music.

Born in Vsetín in 1981. He has studied at a machinery training school in Vsetín, at Zlín Film School (where his major was sound), and at the Faculty of Fine Arts (Multimedia Studio) of Brno University Technology. He is currently studying multimedia composition at Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno. Since 2005 he has been working in Prague as a sound engineer for actors‘ films, documentaries, advertisements, and independent audiovisual production in the film and television industry. He has created sound and musical compositions for featurettes, videos, and theatre plays. He lives in Brno now.

In his work he has been oscillating among many electronic music genres. He has been influenced by ambient, trip-hop, industrial music, techno, noise, post punk and minimalist music. He plays both acoustic and electric guitars, the drums, bass, and piano. In his current works he pursues sound and musical compositions as well as electric-acoustic industrial music. He examines the acoustic nature of iron. His musical instruments are metal sculptures and objects, cylindrical metal objects, etc. He also uses sampling, digital sound modulation, granular synthesis, etc. For his performances he usually uses an interactive combination of music, sound and video.

Miro Toth
Frutti di Mare is a conceptual audiovisual project, whose part were ten concerts played in 2007–2009. Its subjects of interest and line-up changed according to the specifics of each particular venue (from a punk club to the philharmonic). The soul of this project is Miro Tóth. He assembled about sixty players (singers, instrumentalists, conductors, and a complete choir) who were ready to take the path of experimenting in different line-ups and combinations. Frutti has always been about the interaction of vocals, instrumentation, and visual projection. The VJ has always been in the position of an equal. The projection is a score which the singers and players were guided by.

The line-up and the number of players have always depended on the themes of the individual concerts – there were six players in Odin’s Eye and sixty players in Štefan H’s Passions. Both the concept of the theme and the playing technique changed too. The third of the concerts – CHAT – was an interactive and live way of setting various projections of social communication to music. EJACULA was a musicalization of the 1990s pornography with distinct storyline motives.

Frutti di mare are coming to Brno in a purely instrumental line-up as the herald of the forthcoming opera, Moje more Kaddáfi.
