The 51st edition of Concertino Praga 2017 announced!
Czech Radio announces the 51st edition of The International Radio Competition for Young Musicians Concertino Praga 2017 in following categories:
FLUTE | OBOE | CLARINET | BASSOON | TRUMPET
Organization
Competitors from abroad may enter the competition via the members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the International Music Council (IMC) and the European Music Council (EMC). Registrations are done solely by means of the Application form, Accompanying information sheet (including CV, two photographs and repertoire) and the competition Recording (format: WAV, length: 20–30 minutes). The materials shall be sent to Czech Radio by e-mail to: concertino@rozhlas.cz. The organizer shall confirm the receipt of the registration within ten days.
The recordings shall be judged by an international jury in the first quarter of 2017. The organizer shall inform the organizations about the results within ten days after the international jury sessions. The results shall also be available on the competition’s website. The laureates of the International Radio Competition Concertino Praga 2017 shall defend their titles by playing at a Gala concert in Prague’s Municipal House and at the South Bohemian Concertino Praga Festival in June 2017.
Age Limit
The competition may be entered by musicians who do not exceed the age of 17 in the year when their competition recording is made and submitted (2016). The competitors must not exceed the age limit of 18 years in the year of the laureates’ concert (2017).

FLUTE: Otmar Mácha – Variations for flute and piano
OBOE: Luboš Sluka – Suita in G per oboe e pianoforte
CLARINET: Bohuslav Martinů – Sonatina for clarinet and piano
BASSOON: Štěpán Lucký – Introdukce a Capriccio for bassoon and piano
TRUMPET: Bohuslav Martinů – Sonatina for trumpet and piano
