Ministry of Culture Awarded Czech Radio 3 - Vltava
Director of Czech Radio 3 - Vltava, Lukas Hurnik, today received the Award from the Ministry of Culture for the contribution to the development of Czech culture in the year of 2008.
"It is a great honour for me to have the opportunity of accepting this award today. However, it belongs chiefly to my colleagues, who create the programme, and to my superiors who perceive culture together with education and news coverage as one of the three pillars of the public service mission of Czech Radio," said Lukas Hurnik.
Czech Radio 3 - Vltava is one of the Czech Radio´s nationwide stations, focusing on listeners who desire contact with musical and verbal art and culture in the broad sense of the word. The station broadcasts 24 hours per day.
