Vernissage visitors were coming to the museum more than one hour before its opening. This year, in contrast to the previous year, we had quite cold and rainy weather, so visitors were permitted to view the exhibit before the official ceremonial, they could pick up their presents and also view the primeval and medieval exhibitons.
Before 3 p.m. the museum was fully occupied. We helped the disabled to get seats, where they could see everything clearly and the event started. Moderating was taken over by Václav Žmolík instead of Honza Pokorný, who could not come for serious reasons. Václav Žmolík succeeded in creating pleasant atmosphere during exhibition opening and during announcement of competition winners.
Dreamy music was provided by a very interesting musical instrument called termin. Children received their presents from famous celebrities of Czech cultural life, who were members of the commitee or donors of presents. At the end, a small refreshment for children was prepared.
