Eva Čierna - Tornová began to play the piano in her native town České Budějovice with Magda Štajnochrová. She attended the Prague Conservatory (piano, with František Kůda) and earned her degree in Pedagogy and Psychology at the Prague Academy of Music. She amplified her knowledge of music theory at the Faculty of Arts at the Charles University in Prague (musicology).

She graduated from the Janáček Academy in Brno where she studied harpsichord in doc. Barbara Maria Willi´s class. She participated in Master Classes led by famous harpsichordists, artists (J. Toll, J. Ogg, James Jonson). In 2004, she studied with Jacques Ogg at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. She was actively engaged in the project devoted to J. S. Bach. 

Eva Tornová is the founder and artistic leader of the ensemble Musica bellissima, highly positively renowned by the experts. The ensemble is specialized in interpretation of baroque and 20th century music. It organizes its own concert cycle Musica concordans which always takes place in Prague during autumn. 

She gives concerts not only in the Czech Republic but also in various foreign countries (England, the Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia, Germany, etc.). She performs with several orchestras (Musica Florea, PKO, Suk Chamber Orchestra, ČNSO). She has performed her skills at a number of music festivals at home as well as abroad. In 2003, she played at the opening concert of the prestigious Festival Brežice (Slovenia) which was recorded for the television. She have begun to cooperate with The International Music School in Kathmandu, where she was a teacher and organized concerts.
