Ladislav Železný (*1979) was born in Jindřichův Hradec, and currently lives in Prague. He attended the secondary school of ceramics technology in Bechyně, studied intermedia with Jan Svoboda, and attended Keiko Sei, Peter Rónai and Richard Fajnor's video and multimedia studio at Brno's Faculty of Fine Arts.

Železný has worked at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno as technical assistant for audio applications and external pedagogue, and is currently engaged as a sound designer for spoken word at Czech Radio. He also presents his own audio installations and appears as a performer and multimedia artist.
