To the general public, Martin Vajgl is known as a musician dedicated to percussive instruments in the world of concerts, studios and classrooms. Apart from that, his interests also lie in free musical composition, and his alternatively oriented experiments have been published on several discs over the last few years. He has also been exploring this area with his project Drumwave, who last year published an album titled Disgraffiti.
Recently, he has also become interested in crossovers into the world of acoustic collages and connecting them with traditional musical expression. His farthest reach in this direction is this seventeen-minute composition, Contiguities.
