The group known as 4 Dimensions works with experimental and electro-acoustic music. It was established in 1995 at the "F" studio as a loose association of representatives from four different radio professions. Every year, the group participates in domestic and international contests; its achievements include the release of a CD containing eight of its own compositions. The group's major achievement was receiving first prize in the 2001 Prix Bohemia festival's "Musical Sketch" category for its piece Mechanical balls street. In 2003, the group's composition Vltava intermezzo received the Prix Bohemia National Award in the Radiophonic Program category.

Vlado Rusko (1959) - director

Born in Skalica, Slovakia, Rusko studied directing at Prague's DAMU from 1981 to 1986, and worked as a director at Slovak Radio in Bratislava until 1995. During his career, he has helped to create a number of classic and contemporary radio plays by domestic and foreign authors. He specializes in using the sound spectrum and experimental music in his radio plays. While at Slovak Radio's Experimental Studio he produced a quadraphonic adaptation of Ray Bradbury's short story The Wind. Since 1995, he has been working as the director of radio play department at Czech Radio 3 / Vltava. Rusko is the author of several radio adaptations and has been awarded several prizes for radio directing and for music.

Petr Šplíchal (1952) - sound director

Originally a sound master at music studios, Šplíchal has worked as sound director on radio programs since 1986. From 1980 to 1986, he studied percussion at the People's Conservatory under professor Kympl. His broad musical range and interest in various genres led him to his current involvement in the field of electro-acoustic music and composition.

Milan Křivohlavý (1958) - sound engineer

In addition to producing musical and literary programs, Křivohlavý's main interests include new digital recording technologies for electro-acoustic music. His contribution to the project included completing its overall sound composition using keyboard instruments.

Petr Mandel (1938) - composer

Mandel studied composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under professor Pavel Bořkovec. He has also worked as a conductor for theatre ensembles (Ostrava, Hradec Králové, Prague), and since 1990 has been the musical director at Czech Radio 3 / Vltava. His works include many musical compositions for film, television, radio and theatre.
