Every old fashioned machine that hasn't only been constructed for being thrown away has its soul. Isn't it? In case of "Kühlschrank/refrigerator" René Descartes' famous "Cogito ergo sum" has been translated to the self awareness "I refrigerate so I am ... what I am". And - of course - the fridge seems to be proud of it and gives his best to refrigerate. He's cool. Try to listen to the noisy thing. And if you listen deeply enough, maybe you are going to understand the refrigerator. But - do we really need to understand our fridge?
