It's one of those really eclectic weeks... short sections on Tanzania and Zimbabwe, some more underground hits from Lebanon, some recently-rereleased Nigerian rock classics, and much more.

The first hour includes a short set from Tanzania's bongo flava scene - hip hop from G Plat and Noorah; dancehall from Ferouz. The second hour includes a selection of Zimbabwean alternative music, from the energetic fusion-pop of Chiwoniso Maraire to the downtempo grooves of Comrade Fatso, Zimbabwe's white rasta poet and outspoken dissident.

Otherwise, it's a cheerfully chaotic week: Finnish-Nigerian Afrobeat, Japanese dubstep, New York electro, Scottish alt-rock, all together in the Friday Ripple blender.
