It's one of those weeks where there's no specific theme, just a big global tour of alternative sounds. Lots of funky breakbeats, a bit of punk rock, some hip hop, some reggae, and some plain indescribables.

There are quite a few South African tracks in the mix, because - confession! - the usually-live Friday Ripple is on tape this week, because I'm in South Africa. (Hi everybody down there, big respect to the many great music scenes in the Rainbow Nation.) 

Also in the mix great stuff from Cote d'Ivoire, Tanzania, Nigeria, Russia, Slovakia, France etc etc. You know how it goes, it's tagged "alternative music from everywhere" for a reason.
