AFCON 2012 Week 2

Being the last week of the first month of the year, we had an exciting show, filled with non-stop hits as well as club bangers. The AFCON 2012 theme song was filled with different artists who came together to give the song its unique African flavour.

The playlist consisted of African songs, that even as we discussed and analyzed the different groups of the AFCON 2012, we sent out this African vibe to our listeners so that we could all share in this football moment. 

As mentioned above a number of songs were played and the genres covered included the unique yet captivating sounds of kwaito, with Ishmeal who is a celebrated king of this genre. His classic gospel song Avulekile was part of the playlist, from the album Roba letheka released in 2002. 

Zouk is on the playlist from the late legendary sounds of Oliver N'goma from Gabon. It’s a well known fact that next month which happens to be February is a month of love, as we prepare for next month. Will keep you rocked with cool romantic songs and give you tips on how to surprise that special one. 

As we come to the end of the month of January 2012 will close the show with a video from Flamzy & Joskar DJ Faroter Genre - Coupe De Cale.
