AFCON 2012 week 3 (semi-finals) and Valentines

The first show of the month of love, which is February, we had a combination of sport that is the AFCON 2012 tournament presently going on and of course love. Most people find it hard to mix sport and love but we made them co-exist on the Friday Ripple show. We made it happen, we juggled both.

Zouk and RnB made their mark on the show from the likes of Oliver Ngoma from Gabon with his song Adia. We also featured Ice Prince from Nigeria with his Oleku, which got an award for best African music Video in 2011. The likes of Pompi were played with his Makeup song. Other genres that where played included kuduro, afro-house and dancehall. Anto represented Afro-jazz, from east Africa in his mother tongue which is Swahili and a mixture with English.
