Ondřej Brousek – composer

16. říjen 2014

He is currently preparing for the role of Amadeus in Peter Shaffer’s play of the same name at the Divadlo na Vinohradech theatre. It premieres on 7 November. Fortunately, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra is also based in Vinohrady, so Ondřej Brousek, wearing his composer’s hat, can pop out for rehearsals, which are being helmed by French conductor Jean-Michaël Lavoie.

The young composer can look forward to good company: classics in the form of works by Martinů, Barber and Prokofiev will also be performed in the second of the New Horizons series at the Municipal House.
