PRSO set to close Radio Autumn festival

The second annual Radio Autumn International Music Festival culminates on Tuesday, November 1 with a concert by the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra (PRSO) conducted by Petr Vronský with soloist Jan Simon. The evening, with a programme featuring the works of Antonín Dvořák and Camille Saint-Saëns, will also contribute to the Smile for Life charity project.

Programme: 

Antonín Dvořák
Slavic Dance No. 9 in H Major, Op. 72
Slavic Dance No. 10 in E Minor, Op. 72 

Camille Saint-Saëns
Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 2 in G Minor 

Antonín Dvořák
Symphony No. 9 in E Minor, Op. 95, “From the New World” 

Czech Radio 3–Vltava will broadcast a recording of the concert (including an interview with soloist and PRSO intendant Jan Simon) on Tuesday, November 8 at 20:00.
