Year of Czech Music Gala Concert

An untraditional venue, Prague’s O2 Arena, will on Wednesday 17 December host one of the biggest projects in the classical music field in the Czech Republic. The closing concert of the Year of Czech Music 2014 promises excellent performances by top-class vocal soloists (Ana María Martínez, Eva Urbanová, Adam Plachetka, Ramón Vargas), conductor Jakub Hrůša and members of leading Czech orchestras and choirs.

The event is being jointly organised by the Czech Association of Music Festivals and Bestsport Arena, while the Association of Symphony Orchestras and Choirs of the Czech Republic and the City of Prague are co-organisers.
