The nestlings were ringed on Friday for the purpose of their identification in the future years. One leg
wears a yellow ring engraved with National Museum in Prague (this marks a falcon that was hatched at the building)
while the other wears a silver ring with alphanumeric code which can be read using a telescope. | | | Three nestlings

Jaroslav Vogeltanz | | We confirmed there are two females and one male amongst the falcons during the ringing. In the next few days
they will get their names. Anna was angry and even more aggressive than during the last visit. Her reactions are so
different from Tyna's ones last year.
On our way back from the church we found interesting remains of food - a Water Rail and a young Lark. This
proves that falcons must even hunt on the ground as the bird was not able to fly yet.
