Zaneta was born on June 29, 1976 in Zoo Rhenen in the Netherlands. She has the honour to have two two names: Bernardyne-Zanet, but responds to the name Zhanetta. If she wants to, that is.

 Elmar is a mighty orang-utang male with arms spanning 290 cm. He has long, dark red fur. A true orang-utan male, he prefers solitude, just like his peers in the wild.

 Female Satu was brought to Zoo Dvur Kralove on February 13, 2009. She was born on August 31, 1999 in the Twycross Zoo, UK. Under the EEP (European rescue programme), she was designated as a partner for male Elmar. Whe she arrived she weighed 54.5 kg. She was accompanied by her keeper Tanja who was supposed to make the first days in the new environment easier for her.

 Besar is the youngest offspring of orang-utan female Zaneta and male Elmar. He was born on February 8, 2005. He is four and a half years old, meaning he is an orang-utan "teenager". He always experiments, teases, and pesters his mum and "aunt" Satu who also lives in the troop.
